Manea Swim is an Australian swimwear brand born in 2025, inspired by the beauty of our home—the Cook Islands. The name Manea holds a special meaning in our language: it represents not only beauty but also kindness, generosity, and positive energy.

Our story begins with a deep connection to the vibrant culture and natural beauty of the Pacific Islands. Growing up, my family and I would adorn ourselves with flowers—whether tucked behind our ears or woven into intricate flower crowns known as ei katus. From the moment I was born, I developed an undeniable love for flowers and their timeless elegance. In particular, Tipani (frangipani), Kaute (hibiscus), and Tiare Maori (gardenia) have always captivated me with their bold colors and rich symbolism.

For generations, Pacific women have worn flowers as part of their clothing, symbolising femininity, strength, and a deep connection to nature. What’s incredible is how this tradition has evolved and spread, inspiring women of all backgrounds to embrace the beauty and meaning of flowers in their fashion.
